If you want your skin to glow like some of those celebrities, you need to work on your inner health. Our diet can directly affect our skin so we can easily control the beauty of the skin by taking charge of what we eat.
Just like a good nutrition can boost our skin’s health, bad nutrition can spoil it pretty quick. Constant and frequent use of certain foods can damage the DNA of cells, create oxidative stress, and can also cause skin irritations and inflammations.
If you are one of those who don’t know ‘what not to eat’ for a better skin, keep on reading this article.
Following are the six foods that you should avoid for your skin’s sake.
1: Skimmed Milk: Milk, though highly recommended for bone formation, but it’s not that good for skin (surprise, surprise). If you have painful and hard acne which is not going away, the frequent intake of skimmed milk can be the cause. This is because milk contains essential hormones and vitamin, which are absorbed in the blood stream, producing more oil on the skin and aggravating acne.
2: Caffeine: Too much, and frequent intake of coffee can actually dehydrate your skin. The problem gets worse, if you already have a dry skin. Caffeine also produces cortisol in the skin which is responsible for skin sagging, wrinkling, thinning and pre-mature aging. If you really like coffee, consider keeping its intake at bare minimum.

3: Oily Junk Food: Processed and oily junks foods like French fries, burgers and pastas increase the sugar level in the blood. This increased sugar will result in excessive oil on the skin which clogs the pores and results in blackheads, whiteheads, acne and even ages the skin. If you already have an oily skin, oily foods should be strictly avoided.
4: Glycemic Foods: Some foods like white breads, cakes, pastas and donuts are high on Glycemic Indus, which means they can raise glucose and levels of insulin in the blood. This again stimulates our hormones to produce excessive oil and create acne and wrinkles on the face. For facial moles, read about mole removal cream dermatend.
5: Alcohol: Alcohol can make your skin look dull, dry and rough. This is because; it dehydrates the body and skin. If you are addicted and can’t deal with the strong temptations, consider drinking lots of water before having a drink. This way, your skin remains hydrated and you don’t drink more.
6: Sugary Foods: If you have skin irritation, redness or acne or and the problem is lingering for months, it can be due to excessive use of sugar. Foods like candies, chocolates, sweet smoothies and processed milk & yogurt can damage collagen and elasticity of the skin resulting in pre-mature aging and wrinkling. Its frequent intake also reduces the healing power of the skin and might even cause cancer.
